Stevia sweetened lemonade hued with fresh raspberries is not only delicious but with the addition of beetroot powder, loaded with antioxidants and nitrates that relax your blood vessels, lower blood pressure, increase the blood flow to your brain and enhance athletic endurance! You can find beetroot powder at your natural food store. Keep in mind that when using stevia, all brands are different in terms of sweetness. Go easy on it, adding a little at a time until your desired level of sweetness is achieved!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of fresh or previously frozen thawed organic raspberries
- Juice of two freshly squeezed lemons
- 1 Tbsp. of beetroot powder
- powdered stevia to taste (I used the Now brand of stevia and about 5 of the mini scoops that come in the bottle)
- 8 cups of cold water
Place the raspberries into an 8 cup pitcher. Add the lemon juice and the beetroot powder. Crush gently with a spoon to release the juice from the berries. Add the water. Sweeten to taste with stevia.
